Loving these summer evening painting sessions, my Loving these summer evening painting sessions, my studio catches the sunset and I get a lovely golden glow in here (swipe across!✨️) I'm pushing myself to translate my washy/ detailed style onto a bigger sheet of paper, so here we are upgrading to A4 😅 I find it so much easier doing my intricate details on a tiny scale, but I love the idea of having some bigger pieces so I'm starting to practise scaling things up! I've had one of those studio days today where I fe I've had one of those studio days today where I feel like nothing has turned out how I want it to - I tried doing some washy backgrounds but I felt like they all came out too blotchy and weird 😅 Maybe it was more of a day for detailed things - I did these 2 little foxes as well, which I think will be ok when they're finished. It's funny how sometimes everything feels so easy and other days I can't do anything I'm happy with!
